      The Galle Face Hotel Colombo has a saltwater pool with sun loungers that faces the Indian Ocean, the only such pool in Colombo. Built in 1864, this colonial-style hotel holds the distinction of being the first Sri Lankan hotel featured on a postage stamp. In 2024, the property won the Sri Lanka Tourism Award for its heritage hospitality.

      Most rooms at the Galle Face Hotel offer wooden flooring and views of the Indian Ocean, Galle Face Green, or Colombo city. Each room includes a TV, private bathroom with hairdryer, minibar, and personal safe. Guests booking Regency Suites get an enormous spa bath and two balconies overlooking the ocean.
